Kimpton’s FireSky Resort & Spa in Scottsdale is hosting an ice cream social for charity this Thursday (tomorrow), July 15. From 2 to 4 p.m., hotel guests and the public are invited to pop into the FireSky lobby for a banana-caramel gelato, a hazelnut gelato or an ice cream sandwich. These house-made beat-the-heat treats cost just $2 each, with all proceeds going to the local chapter of Dress for Success. (Note: If you’re on the move and have only enough time for a fast break, it’s easy to park, grab and go from the hotel’s front parking lot.)

If you cannot squeeze Thursday’s social into the schedule, you can still do your part for Dress for Success by testing both flavors of gelato at the resort’s on-site restaurant, Taggia, between now and July 31. Yum.
