Today’s PR Primer is a tribute to the late and great Valley PR Blog. In case you didn’t get the memo, the Valley’s premier source of local industry news made its final post today after four and a half years.

Over its course, the blog upheld its mission of bringing together the Phoenix public relations community by announcing new hires, local industry news and tips to becoming a PR pro in the Valley of the Sun. Nearly 2,000 posts later, the blog’s contributors have moved on to different projects and new priorities, personal and professional, and are no longer able to keep it running.

Do not fret; there are still plenty of resources for PR news for the greater Phoenix area. Check out the Valley PR Blog’s Blogroll to make sure you’re visiting the right sites. And of course, keep dropping by here as well.

During a time like this, one can’t help but think of the Golden Girls theme song. Valley PR Blog, thank you for being a friend!
